Introduction
Steve Andriole is a business technology veteran who has developed a perspective on the optimization of computing and communications technology based on experience from government, industry, academia and the venture capital business.
He is the Thomas G. Labrecque Professor of Business at Villanova University where he teaches and conducts applied research in business technology management, technology trends and corporate strategy.
He is the founder of TechVestCo, Inc., a consulting firm that specializes in business technology optimization, and a Fellow at the Cutter Consortium. He is also a Managing Director of The Musser Group. He is the author and co-author of thirty books and over three hundred articles, papers and reports.
He has served as Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President for Technology Strategy at CIGNA Corporation and Safeguard Scientifics, Inc. as well as a professor of information systems, systems engineering and electrical and computer engineering at several universities. He is a frequent lecturer at the Wharton school of the University of Pennsylvania on business technology management.
